2009

  • 2008-2009-2010 - Construction of Calypso, Canada's biggest theme waterpark

  • October 6th, 2009 - Special weekend preview of Calypso Theme Waterpark

2010

  • June 7th, 2010 - Opening of the waterpark
  • June 10th, 2010 - Press conference for the grand opening of  Calypso Theme Waterpark

2011

  • New Summit Tower, the highest free-standing waterslide tower in North America with 10 new waterslides including 2 AquaLoops, 4 high-speed waterslides and 4 serpentine slides for the entire family. This new attraction was an investment of $5 million.
  • New VIP Zone with luxurious and private Cabanas.

2012

  • New Jungle Challenge, an exotic course featuring obstacles and surprises. Intrepid adventurers can try to complete the course by walking on logs, crocodiles and water lilies, while holding onto ropes and nets, all without getting wet! This new attraction, located on the shore of Jungle Run's tropical river, as well as improvements made to the waterpark's existing installations, represent a total investment of $1 million.

2013

  • New Kongo Expedition, a theme river that will lead guest through the African savana. This is the park’s first attraction in which swimmers can ride single inner tubes, thereby letting adventurers test their courage individually. The Kongo Expedition project was an investment of $7 million, it includes the river, 3 new restaurants (a fast-food location, a submarine shop and a dairy bar), and a new wooded area with 150 picnic tables, it covers approximately 20,000 sq. m., nearly 4 times the size of Calypso Palace wave pool. 

  • 8 new VIP Cabanas. Like Calypso’s existing cabanas, the 8 new VIP cabanas offer both luxury and privacy, with deck chairs, a sound system, a refrigerator, free Wi-Fi Internet and preferred location with a scenic view of the waterpark.
